Temporary Site - Greater Cincinnati Chapter Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (GCCTAI)
The Greater Cincinnati Chapter Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (GCCTAI) was co-founded in 1986 by "Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen" (D.O.T.A.) Mr. Charles O. Southern, Mr, John H. Leahr, Dr. Ceasar Bassett, Mr. John Lindsey and Mr. John Riley. GCCTAI is one of more than 50 active Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (TAI) Chapters located in major cities and military installations throughout the United States. The Cincinnati area's last remaining D.O.T.A., Mr. Godfrey Miller passed away on September 12th, 2020. The members of GCCTAI and other TAI organizations consists of civilians and veterans; as well as, military personnel from all branches of service.
The Cincinnati Chapter encourages young people to explore a world of aviation and aerospace careers. We provide annual stipends (initiated by Co-founder Charles O. Southern) to selected students and awards to other individuals who support the goals of the Tuskegee Airmen

The three pillars of the chapter are the Education Fund, Youth Aviation Program, and Keeping the Legacy Alive.
Education Fund
Provide educational stipends to well deserved youth furthering their education.
Youth Aviation
Encourage young people to explore a world of aviation and aerospace careers.
Keep Alive the Legacy
Conduct and participate in engagement activities to perpetuate the legacy and patriotic service of the Airmen
